Recommended service for 2 generations old equipment (5-7 years), obsolete with low value.
Maximize the value recovered from retired IT assets while mitigating data security and environmental risks. Assets are refurbished or recycled to maximize value and minimize environmental impact. Hard drives are wiped to D.O.D standards. Ideal for clients that want to balance the economic benefits of reuse and minimize cost of recycling. Recommended Service for last generation devices (3-5 years old)
Prepare your retired assets for a second life or return to a lessor. Assets are tested for functionality, wiped free of data, and packaged for return. Recommended for clients wanting to cascade assets to another user; donate to charity; or return to a lessor.
Migrate from an old to new laptop over the weekend. Old and new laptops are received at a centralized processing center. Data is migrated from the old laptop to the new laptop. Value recovery services are preformed on the old laptop and the new laptop is prepared for configuration and deployment to the end user. Recommended Service for sales force in remote locations who are difficult to get together and migrate centrally. 200 asset min.
Store your new IT assets in our secure facility and deploy them at a moments notice. Assets are inventoried, and ready to pick and ship nationwide. Optional product configuration services are available to further customize and test your systems. Recommended service for enterprise clients with lengthy rollout schedules and tight delivery SLAs. 200 asset min.
Asset Recovery Services
Assets are unloaded, weighed, and counted. Packaging materials and containers are separated for recycling. All assets are grouped and labeled by their job # prior to registration.
Asset registered into our production database by assigning a unique tracking number to each serialized asset. Capture of asset type, manufacturer, model, serial number, client asset tag number (if applicable), Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity number (if applicable), cosmetic condition and any other physical attributes and kitted components.
Reconciliation and variance report of anticipated vs. Received assets against client provided asset list. Report is available on portal or via email. Report includes : Anticipated AND Received, Anticipated NOT Received, Received NOT Anticipated.
Client property / asset tags are scanned into the database; removed, and destroyed. Any other client markings - stickers, labels, paper, etc. are removed and recycled or disposed.
Power-on Self Test . Check for basic functionality. Examine units for structural integrity and chassis damage.
Automated test procedures utilizing software discovery agents and test diagnostic tools to discover detailed inventory of attributes and system functionality. Assets are tested, discovered, and test results are automatically recorded into our production database.
Internal media cards removed and / or reset to factory settings
All hard drives are sanitized using an automated 3 pass wipe process that complies with Department of Defense Standards. Overwriting software and tools are used to accommodate all types of fixed and removable media, and each wiped drive is physically inspected to ensure it has been overwritten properly.

Drives processed via high capacity degaussing magnet to erase all data and render the drive useless. The drives are then physically destroyed in the refining process. This process will be used for defective drives, removable media, and obsolete hardware

FMV purchase provides clients the highest value, fastest service, complete tracking, one time accounting, and best reporting. our provides access to its proprietary database that calculates values of systems, parts, and components based on real time global market data. Client receives a complete one -time settlement for all assets received. Clients receive monthly values in advance of returning equipment to processing centers.
Monthly sales report provided for all assets sold during that period. Client will receive a percentage of the proceeds after fees and deductions.

Inventory and store assets in our secure facility in preparation for deployment. Monthly rate per asset.

Repair & Refubishment Services
Rebuild nonfunctional assets - restoring them to complete and functional condition. Sample repairs or replacements include plastics, internal components, LCD screens, latches, hinges, batteries, AC adapter, etc. Repairs are billed in 30 minute increments
Verify remaining warranty on asset. Repair per Manufacturer Specifications. Utilize our OEM repair certifications or third party service provider. our labor is reimbursed by the OEM if client designates our as it Authorized Service Provider.
Microsoft Refurbished Operating System image is loaded on to PC. Price includes cost of new Microsoft COA. Re-imaged system must meet re-imaging requirements from Microsoft. Apple systems are reimaged per factory specs. Servers include 5 Cals with the OS. (Note this service is already included in the Value Recovery Service and no additional charges will apply)
The Microsoft End User License Agreement (EULA) is activated on behalf of the client This allows the purchased computer to be deployed without requiring the end user to perform the software activation. Power of Attorney required.

Asset Management Services
Department of Defense compliant software, printer with labels, router, cables and instruction manual within suit-case sized kit ships to client designated location. Can wipe up to 24 PC';s simultaneously. Certificates provided on hard drives successfully wiped and identifies hard drives which fail to wipe. Multiple kits available.
Technical Labor provided to perform onsite data wipe or other asset removal services.
Available for Symantec / Altiris Notification Server 6 clients today, this Symantec certified plug-in software allows clients to initiate, track, and manage the end-of-life processing of IT assets from within the Altiris management console. Built-in functionality includes the initiation of asset pick-up and tracking through final disposition. Full settlement reporting and certificates of data destruction are uploaded via secure web services from TechTurn into the client's Asset Management system. TechTurn Retirement Solution automates the management and tracking of IT assets throughout the retirement process. Node charges may apply.
A perfect program for resellers, OEMS, and even large organizations to incent their clients to purchase new IT assets. This service provides value back in the form of a rebate or payment for your old IT asset. IT assets below the technology cut are properly recycled.

Collection & Logistics Services
Arranged shipping to the nearest processing center. Client initiates pickup request through the Client portal identifying list of equipment which is de-installed and at centralized location at the site. Logistics provider verifies piece count by equipment type at customer dock. Dual signature captured from both logistics provider and customer. Equipment transported to the most geographically effective our facility . Trailer locked to ARS facility receiving bays . ARS facility validates count and weight against anticipated count and weight. Full Truck Loads and Less Than Truckload dispatches are made. Client will receive confirmation via the portal and track shipment.
Client request packaging services through the Client Portal. Packaging and collection services to safely transport equipment to the closest processing center. Units must be de-installed and at a central location at the site. Fees are added to shipping charges
Dedicated truck or container is dispatched to the client facility. Equipment is loaded into a truck and locked with a seal. Dual signatures are collected at the pickup and delivery location. Asset serial numbers are recorded at pickup and receiving locations. Photos of seals are returned to client upon receipt. Cost for this service are added to the Standard Shipping and Packaging services above.
A secure container with combination lock box is sent to the client. Client packs assets into container, locks equipment and contacts for pickup. Container is collected and securely transported in ARS facility. Ideal for clients wanting an additional level of security in transit for laptops or hard disk drives. Custom quote required.
Pre-paid shipping label(s) and packaging instructions are sent to customer. Customer provides the packing materials, packs equipment, and contacts designated carrier for pick-up. Package(s) delivered to appropriate facility.
Return Box, packing materials, packaging instructions are mailed to the customer. Customer packs equipment and contacts designated (less than carrier for pick-up. Package(s) delivered to appropriate facility.
Client arranges Freight to nearest processing Center . Use the Client Portal to obtain shipping documents - bills of lading, labels, packaging guidelines, etc.
Anywhere in the Continental Unites States we will dispatch a 48' or 53' truck to client site for collecting Technology Assets. Trailer can be dropped for long term loading
Reporting Services
A comprehensive web portal providing account details, job details, settlement details. The portal allows clients to initiate service requests, request phone and email support, track activity, and collaborate. Logins are controlled by email account and are unlimited (you are here)
Report documents the pallet and box count, piece count, and weights of all shipments received at our processing facility
Serialized list of all serial numbers registered in the our Production Database
