Safe Disposal

The recycling of hazardous materials during the computer recycling process warrants special care and attention. TechTurn’s stringent quality and environmental standards meet or exceed those mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Plus, our zero landfill policy is in full compliance with EPA Disposal Regulations.

Our recycling processes are also certified by the International Association of Electronics Recyclers (IAER), the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) and other leading recycling organizations. We also go a step further, regularly auditing all of our downstream recycling partners to ensure their processes are in compliance with all EPA guidelines as well. This “closed loop” guarantees that your used assets will never be improperly disposed of in a way that could cause environmental damage or harm to your public image.

We’re your environmental stewards

At TechTurn, we’re all about extending the life of technology so it can benefit others. As our customer, this is a positive message that we both can share. Of course, that’s not all we do. Once your technology assets are turned over to us, we harvest every valuable part or system. Everything of value, including the components, precious metals and other raw materials, is reused in the refurbishment process and then resold to others.

For items that have no value (such as plastics) or contain hazardous material, TechTurn works with contracted suppliers that are fully certified to handle and properly recycle these materials.
