TechTurn is rapidly growing and needs qualified candidates for positions in both Richmond, VA and Austin, TX.

 

 

We are looking for an experienced Altiris Systems Engineer with a strong systems development and process engineering background.  This candidate will be responsible for providing on-site implementation and support of TechTurn software that integrates into the Altiris framework for management of the retirement of assets.  This position is based in Austin, TX at TechTurn’s corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities include:

• Effective presentation and communication of TechTurn/Altiris software product, technical details and best practices
• Assisting customers with software implementations
• Identifying client needs and cross selling TechTurn services
• Some travel will be required

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Microsoft MCSE required   
• Proficiency with Altiris Asset Management software required
• Works closely with Altiris Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services teams to identify and resolve issues and to mitigate customer impact during engagements.
• Strong knowledge of Altiris Deployment Solution a plus
• Proficiency with VB Scripting, especially in Altiris DS
• Strong presentation and communication skills required
• Prior field engineering experience preferred
• Experience configuring, administering and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
• Experience capturing, defining and documenting business processes required 
• BS Degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Asset Management best practices and processes a plus

Inside Sales Account Managers - experienced calling into secondary market dealers and wholesale accounts worldwide? We are expanding our sales team.

Parts Sales -  the right candidate has been successful with both the buy and sell side of the secondary market parts business with focus on desktop, notebook, server, workstation, printers and peripherals. Some networking experience a plus.
